Section 13(1) of the Lagos Tenancy Law 2011 sets the minimum notice where the agreement is silent:

Section 4 also makes it unlawful for a landlord to demand or receive more than one year’s rent in advance from a yearly tenant (six months for a monthly tenant).
Arrears rule (Lagos): a monthly tenant who is six months in arrears loses entitlement to a quit notice (s.13(2)); a quarterly or half-yearly tenant who is one year in arrears does too (s.13(3)).
